Kellogg, MN 55945

Help the nature Conservancy pull Cow vetch and maybe collect native seeds! Cow Vetch is an invasive that we spend a couple days hand pulling every year. We collect seeds through out the summer and fall to be spread during the winter. Early season seeds could include Porcupine Grass, June Grass and Carolina Larkspur. Bring water, snacks and weather appropriate clothing.

-Poison Ivy grows throughout the preserve and while we will do our best to lower our exposure, complete avoidance is tough. Tall rainboots that you can tuck your pants into help, although they get quite toasty. -Snakes are a likely siting at Weaver Dunes -Dogs are not allowed on the preserve

The day will be canceled in the event of -Lighting storm -heat index over 90 degrees -Possibly rain, depending on intensity

Please RSVP to Kallyn.rapp@tnc.org and I can let everyone know if we do cancel.
