We are pleased to offer the Minnesota Master Naturalist Big Woods, Big Rivers course right on the banks of the Mississippi River! Throughout this program, you’ll explore the plants, animals, history, geology, and ecology that shape Minnesota’s forests and waterways.

You will gain valuable skills for exploring the natural world and sharing your knowledge with others. We will spend significant portions of each class in and around the river, practicing and honing those skills.

This class includes two required full-day field trips on Sunday, September 27 and Sunday November 1 as well as a capstone project completed during the session.
