Join us in identifying as many invasive species as possible at Avon Hills Forest SNA. The mapping event is a field study to document the invasive species of the SNA. Participants can help contribute to a better understanding of the ecology of the SNA and the organisms found on it. No experience necessary, just bring your curiosity and enthusiasm. A device with EDDMapS downloaded on it is highly recommended to help record all the invasive species that you find.

Clothing and footwear appropriate for outdoor work/hiking is recommended. There are no maintained trails, public restrooms or drinking water at this site.

Directions From Avon 1.4 miles W on Co Hwy 54, then 1.8 miles N on Tower Rd, then 0.5 mile W on Quaker Rd. Park in lot on S. Hike S into woods of site.
