Nokomis Naturescapes is a four-acre native-plant pollinator garden near Lake Nokomis, cared for by volunteers since 1998. The space is a certified Monarch Waystation and host site for the annual Minneapolis Monarch Festival. Group garden work takes place three times per month, alternating Saturday mornings and Tuesday evenings. No experience necessary. The garden is located on the NE shore of Lake Nokomis at the conjunction of Woodlawn Boulevard, East 50th Street and East Lake Nokomis Parkway. Street parking is available.
