Identifying trees with leaves is one thing. Identifying trees with no leaves is a whole other challenge!

Join us for a short 1-mile hike around the floodplain forest to learn about the trees that live here and what clues we can use to identify them in the spring.

The trails may be muddy, snowy, or icy. Dress accordingly and be prepared for slippery conditions. No Registration Required.

Meet at the Thomas C. Savage Visitor Center. On Post Rd. off State Hwy. 5, just East of MSP International Airport.

All vehicles entering a MN State Park requires a park permit ($7/daily or $35/annual).
