How do Minnesota animals survive our harsh winter conditions? In this program, we will explore techniques and strategies animals have to survive. Whether mammal, reptile, insect or bird, animals have evolved to stay in Minnesota year-round. This will be a combination of lecture and hands-on experiential learning. Instructor Information

Anne Jaeger

Anne has been an outdoor educator for over 25 years and is known for creating adventuresome and safe learning experiences for people ages 3 to 93 years. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota in Natural Resources and Environmental Studies, is a graduate of the National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS), a Leave No Trace (LNT) Master Educator, PSIA Nordic ski instructor and is currently fascinated with mushrooms. Her world travels have taken her from the rivers and eskers of the Arctic Circle to the mountains and glaciers of Patagonia.
