Share Our Shoreline to protect Minnesota's state bird! This workshop focuses on loon-safe fishing. This is an in-person training featuring a demonstration at the Cross Lake Recreation Area followed by an outing on board the National Loon Center's loon pontoon, the StewardShip, on Cross Lake.

Are you a beginner angler wanting to learn how to fish loon-safe? Or are wondering what the best lead-free tackle alternatives are? Beginner anglers will enjoy hands-on demonstrations and tips for using lead-free alternatives presented by a program coordinator of Get the Lead Out MN! Following the demonstrations, we'll take a deeper dive into loon-safe fishing while out on the water watching loon pairs with their growing chicks.
