Volunteer Stewardship Project: Dame website
380th StLe Sueur, MN 56058
Come out and help us remove invasive species at Chamberlain Woods SNA. The task for the day will be pulling dame's rocket, a plant that invades woodland areas and can out-compete native species.
Bags, instructions, and good camaraderie will be provided. Bring water, snacks, and dress for working in the weather. Long pants and sleeves are strongly recommended due to stinging nettle on the site. Footwear appropriate for outdoor work/hiking is recommended. If you have your own gloves you'd like to use, please bring those as well. There are no public restrooms nor access to drinking water on this site.
Directions
From LeSueur 4 miles S on Co Rd 36 (Ottawa Rd), then 0.4 mile W on Twp Rd 69 (380th St). Continue across railroad grade, then park in lot on NW where road turns S.
