13 Moons Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Extension program will be hosting the Minnesota Master Naturalist Class. This class includes teachings on traditional ecological knowledge and ethnobotany of the Ojibwe tribes of the North Woods, Great Lakes biome of Minnesota.
Classes are a mix of classroom instruction, field trips, and outdoor activities. Participants will complete a capstone project as small groups to help move from education to service. Master Naturalists are required to complete 40 hours of volunteer service in 1 year for their final certification.
Attendance is REQUIRED at all sessions and field trips to complete course work. A weekend field trip is included in the schedule. Saturday September 12, and Sunday September 13.

The course cost is $275 and includes course manuals and supplies.
