NWGL - Boulder Lake Environmental Learning Center
The 18,000 acres surrounding Boulder Lake Environmental Learning Center is an amazing place to complete your 40-hour initial Master Naturalist Volunteer training course. This course is taught by the incredible Larry Weber and John Geissler. This program allows participants to study natural history, environmental interpretation, and conservation stewardship. Fall is a great time of year to see mushrooms, fall wildflowers, trees, migrating birds , insects, and spiders. Final certification comes with the completion of 40 hours of volunteer service. Individuals interested may not register for single programs—the training is intended for those committed to attending all meetings listed.
The course cost is $200 and includes course manuals and supplies. If the course cost is a hardship, please fill out the scholarship application and send it to us.
