Pollinator park maintenance includes identifying unwanted plants in the prairie, flower garden and pollinator land - remove by hand or weed wack, plant new plantings if needed, add mulch if needed. Also, there are two nearby pollinator gardens at Ramsey-Grove and Northland requiring similar, but smaller. If we receive the grant we applied for, there might be another opportunity to plant many plugs and/or seed at Lake Elmo Bumble Bee sanctuary.
It would be helpful to have knowledge of native prairie plants, but not necessary.
What to know:
Bring gloves, trowel and shovel.
