Mammal research at the Bell
Join Sharon Jansa, curator of mammals, for a behind the scenes and in the drawers tour of the Bell Museums mammal collection!
During this daylong tour and workshop participants will learn about some of the more peculiar and lesser known mammals of the world as well as museum curation by actively engaging in the curatorial work of preparing, accessioning, databasing, and curating scientific specimens. Under the guidance of Dr. Jansa, participants will have hands on experience preparing a small mammal as a museum study skin.

The course cost is $50 and includes course manuals and supplies.
