Great Location - 18,000 acres surrounding Boulder Lake Environmental Learning Center just 20 miles north of Duluth. Free camping available.
Expert Instructors - Award winning teacher, author, and phenologist Larry Weber together with John Geissler, Director of Boulder Lake Environmental Learning Center.
This 40 hour hands on Master Naturalist Volunteer Training allows participants to study natural history, environmental interpretation, and conservation stewardship. The fall is a great time of year to see trees, fall wildflowers, rocks, insects, migration birds, and more. Final certification comes with the completion of 40 hours of volunteer service. Individuals interested may not register for single sessions- the training is intended for those committed to attending all sessions listed.
